Bihar JEE, NEET free coaching: Counselling list released; Interviews on Oct 1

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released a notice regarding the interview-cum-counselling round for the free coaching program for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The board has published the list of candidates selected for the interview-cum-counselling process. Students who have successfully qualified for the written exam for the BSEB JEE and NEET free coaching can access and download this list from the official website- coaching.biharboardonline.com.

The interviews for the counselling process will be held at schools located in various divisional headquarters of districts such as Patna, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Munger, and Gaya. The interviews will start at 9:30 AM. All shortlisted candidates and their parents are requested to arrive at the designated venues for the counselling procedures.

Students who have qualified for the written test must bring their educational certificates, Aadhar card, an additional self-attested passport-size photograph, and the JEE and NEET free coaching written exam admit card for the further interview-cum-counselling process scheduled to take place on October 1.

Earlier, BSEB released the provisional answer key for the written exam on September 22. The exam was organized to select deserving students for free engineering and medical coaching in the state.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main are highly competitive exams in India. These exams are the pathway to gain admission into prestigious engineering and medical colleges in the country. Over 18 lakh students took the NEET UG and over 9 lakh students took the JEE Main in 2023. A good score in these exams can secure admission to top universities in India.

Some states provide free coaching to all students, while others offer engineering and medical entrance test tutoring to specific groups, such as Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
